GPhone? Now it is Open Handset Alliance

Worldchanging.com

FOSS for artists 2007-08-19

Jeffrey Zeldman: King of Web Standards 2007-08-16

Worldchanging

Del.icio.us

Worldchanging.com

Zotero-Firefox extention for researchers 2007-08-17

Thrill of a Romance 2007-08-04

The Forgotten Dialect Of The Heart 2007-08-03

Who owns culture? 2007-07-27

Del.icio.us

Benefits of Studying Latin

"If Latin Studies flourish, today's culture stands a better chance of
being transformed by people who have attained a larger vision, people
who possess a self-knowledge and self-understanding that they would not
have without some such study. If Latin Studies flourish widely, then
more people of the world can experience some significant moments of a shared historical and cultural past, a shared genealogy (even if they are not biologically descended from Romans). The sense of humane
kinship can grow and world harmony will become more likely. The
classical liberal arts give us an invaluable praxis for transcending
ethnocentrism and destructive radical fundamentalism. It is as
important now as it has ever been."

http://www.slu.edu/colleges/AS/languages/classical/latin/tchmat/pedagogy/latinbenefits.html

Vicipaedia Latina flourishes 2007-10-04

Why study Greek and Latin and the Classical Humanities? 2007-08-17

Friedrich Nietzsche 2007-08-16

Walking 2007-08-06

The Busy Heart, by Rupert Brooke 2007-08-04

Del.icio.us

Ubuntu Dapper

See your Flickr photo on del.icio.us

"Social bookmarking service del.icio.us just rolled out a neat new
feature integration with sister product Flickr: thumbnails of Flickr
photos in your del.icio.us bookmarks."

"Bookmark and tag a Flickr photo with del.icio.us and a thumbnail of
that photo magically appears in your bookmark list. I love this idea
because it expands Flickr's favorites: this way you can bookmark and
